Telcordia Qualification

Telcordia generic requirement (GR) standards are predominantly used in telecom equipment worldwide by all the major optical component and equipment vendors. KOTURA is no different than rest and all of its optical components are Telcordia qualified. KOTURA's foremost goal is to provide our customer with high quality reliable products and has put in place a qualification programme that meets the Telcordia testing requirements while minimizing the operational impact in terms of time, resource and expenditure. The key Telcordia standards for optical-components are GR-1221-CORE and GR-468-CORE, which sets out the reliability requirements for most of the optoelectronic devices used in telecoms equipment. KOTURA's qualification programme is derived from GR-1221-CORE and GR-468-CORE and number of other Telcordia standards to test the products life cycle reliability. KOTURA follows a whole range of high-level reliability practices, such as: lot-to-lot control; corrective actions for failures; environmental, health and safety considerations; and documentation processes. The KOTURA products are qualified in accordance with the industry standards listed below:
- Telcordia GR-1221-CORE Generic Reliability Assurance Requirements for Passive Optical Components
