Kotura, Inc. Appoints Semiconductor Industry Veteran as VP Operations
Monterey Park, Calif., November 6, 2007 -- Kotura, Inc., a leading provider of silicon photonic components, today announced the appointment of Wayne White as Vice President of Operations.
“As we broaden our customer base and product portfolio, it was the right time to enhance our team with an experienced Operations Executive like Wayne,” says Jean-Louis Malinge, Kotura’s CEO. “Wayne has an excellent track record in managing silicon fabs, outsourced manufacturing, and operational excellence.”
Wayne brings to Kotura more than 30 years of experience in silicon and silicon photonics process development and manufacturing. Previously he held positions of VP of Operations at Forza Silicon, a fabless provider of image sensors, at Luxtera, and at Photobit, later acquired by Micron Technology. White began his career with Hughes Aircraft as Manager of Wafer Fabrication, and later became Operations Manager for Motorola Semiconductor Products, now known as Freescale.
Mr. White holds an MS degree in Physics from Northwestern University, Evanston Illinois
