Kotura and Oki Optical Components to Partner in Silicon Photonics for Next Generation Products
First Product is an Integrated VOA-APD Based 10 Gbs Receiver.
Monterey Park, Calif., February 21, 2008 - Kotura Inc., a leading provider of silicon photonic components and Oki Optical Components, a leading supplier of very high speed optical and IC components for Ethernet and Telecom applications, today announced that they are partnering to bring new products to the market place.
Latter this year, Oki Optical Components plans to introduce a 10G APD receiver with integrated VOA for Metro applications. The silicon photonics VOA with the fastest response time in the industry enables the receiver to support a wide range of new applications.
